First Impressions are Everything!

How can a custom illustration help your company bring in more sales?  Well, consider an everyday trip to the grocery store. You’re hungry, you’re in a hurry to get the shopping done so you can get home and put dinner on the table. You just want to get in and out as quickly as possible. You need a box of rice, but there are several to choose from, which do you pick? Well if you’re incredibly thrifty, perhaps you will be automatically pulled towards the cheapest box on the very bottom shelf. As for the rest of America? well there is a reason that people don’t like generics, and rarely does it have to do with the taste of the product! When we consider a product in the few microseconds it takes to reach towards that box, bag or bottle, our eyes are met with an array of images. We are naturally, albeit subconsciously, pulled towards that which looks most appealing to our senses. That box of rice need to not only look visually appealing, but it must somehow convince us it will taste and smell delicious as well.

Both when selling a company identity or a particular product it is wise to consider how it will appear to your target customers. What do you want to tell them most about your product in those mirco-second before they make their final selection? How will your product appeal to them? What feelings will it evoke in them? This is where a customized illustration comes in.
